Postseason Begins
The Albertus Magnus College women's soccer team has earned the sixth seed for the upcoming 2019 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Soccer Tournament and will face third-seeded Emmanuel (Mass.) College in the quarterfinals on Saturday, Nov. 2. Kick-off is slated for 12 p.m. in Boston, Mass.    

Postseason Notes

• This is the Falcons' 12th GNAC postseason appearance.
• Albertus has an all-time postseason record of 4-8-3.  
• The Falcons are 1-1-1 all-time against Emmanuel in the postseason. 

2019 Recap

• Picked to finish 11^th in the GNAC preseason poll, the Falcons defied expectations and ended the year sixth out of 13 teams.
• Started the season 4-2, demolishing Mitchell College and Northern Vermont-Lyndon 10-0 and 11-1, respectively, before defeating conference rival Simmons University, 3-0, in the GNAC opener.
• Owned a 5-2 record in the month of September.
• Was 6-3 at home.  
• Finished the month of October 3-4-1, including victories over GNAC foes Anna Maria, Regis (Mass.), and St. Joseph (Conn.), to go along with a 2-2 tie with Norwich.   
• Scored 47 goals on the season and had multiple players in the top ten of the GNAC statistical leaderboard.
• The win against St. Joseph (Conn.) was Coach Nick Wajnowski and Coach John Adams 120^th career victory.
