Lauren Pallone concluded her third varsity season as the head coach for Falcon Swimming and first as the department's Senior Woman Administrator.

In 2021, Pallone guided the women's swim program to new heights as the Falcons set a slew of new school and personal records in multiple events. In their 2021 home opener, the team earned this first-ever program wins over Great Northeast Athletic Conference opponents - Elms College and Saint Joseph College of Maine. The Falcons wrapped up GNAC Tournament action with a ninth-place finish, while the 800-yard freestyle relay team set a new school record in the event. Sabrina Accioly and Maria Estrada also took part in the NEISDA's. 

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Falcons were unable to compete in a regular-season but was able to compete virtually with Roger Williams, Babson, Stonehill, Colby-Sawyer, Gordon, Elms, and the Univesity of Saint Joseph (CT). 

The Falcons participated in 11 events in their first varsity season. Albertus picked up its first-ever victory on Jan. 18 with a 104-90 win over Rhode Island College to split a tri-match that day. The Falcons took eighth in their first appearance in the GNAC Tournament. 

Pallone comes to Albertus Magnus having previously been the assistant at her alma mater, Central Connecticut State University.  During her time as an assistant at CCSU she helped coach two NCAA Championship Division I qualifiers, and numerous Northeast Conference champions.

Prior to her time at CCSU, Lauren also served one year as an assistant coach at Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT. She helped coach a NCAA Championship Division III qualifier, and was the head coach of Camillus Swim Club in Syracuse, NY for two years.

Pallone has also been the head coach of the Blue Devil Swim Club, a USA Swimming program in New Britain, CT.  She has been associated with the club for twelve years and has overseen the club's daily operation, including writing workouts, meet management, and scheduling.  She has helped produce many state, regional, junior national, and national qualifiers during her years with the Club.

Prior to her coaching career, Pallone was an accomplished collegiate swimmer at CCSU. Primarily a sprinter for the Blue Devils, competing in both the freestyle and breaststroke Lauren set the school freshman record in the 100 breaststrokes in her first season in New Britain. She was a member of the 2001 Northeast Conference Championship team, was a member of several school relay record-breaking teams, and was named as a captain for the Blue Devils in her senior season.

Lauren holds a bachelor's Degree from Central Connecticut State University in Sociology and recently received a Master's Degree from Quinnipiac University in Special Education. Lauren also has one daughter, Kendall.
