WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – The Albertus Magnus College women's tennis team lost by a score of 6-3 to the Blue Jays of the University of Saint Joseph (CT) on Tuesday afternoon in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) showdown at the Elizabeth Ferry Speer Tennis Complex.
Freshman JuJu Oliver (New Britain, Conn.) finished the afternoon with an overall record of 2-0 behind a pair of wins at No. 1 singles and doubles, along with partner Julianna Sigut (Litchfield, Conn.). Junior Nayelli Garcia (East Haven, Conn.) also picked up a "W" for the Falcons following a 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 6 singles.
