Women's Tennis Releases 2022 Schedule

2022 SCHEDULE

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Albertus Magnus College women's tennis Head Coach Bob Migliorini released the program's slate of matches for the 2022 season this afternoon.

The Falcons are scheduled to play 12 matches in 2022, nine at home at the Celentano Courts and three on the road. Six of Albertus' 12-game slate will be a part of Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play.

AMC kicks off the season on Saturday, Sept. 3, when it welcomes Thomas (ME) College for a 1 p.m. showdown. The following Saturday, the Falcons hit the road for the first time in 2022, as they open GNAC play with a 12 p.m. tilt against Simmons University in Brighton, Mass.

Albertus will be back in action the next day to play Ramapo College at home at 1 p.m. The Falcons continue conference play on Saturday, Sept. 17, with a home 3 p.m. bout against the Pride of Regis (Mass.) College. GNAC play rolls on for AMC on Thursday, Sept. 22, when it welcomes in-state foe the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) for a 3:30 p.m. tilt.

The Falcons close out September the following week, first hitting the road to play Colby-Sawyer College on Saturday, Sept. 25, at 1 p.m. Albertus then hosts Lehman College at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 27.

Albertus hits the ground running in October, with a pair of league matches in the first week of the month. On Saturday, Oct. 1, AMC battles Eastern Nazarene College on the road at 1 p.m. before hosting Lesley University for a 3 p.m. tilt on Saturday, Oct. 8, at the Celentano Courts. The Falcons get right back at it the following morning, as they battle Rhode Island College on Sunday, Oct. 9, at home at 10 a.m.

AMC concludes the 2022 regular season with a pair of non-conference home matches against Brooklyn College and Kean University. The Falcons battle the Bulldogs first on Friday, Oct. 14, at 3:30 p.m. as part of the College's Homecoming festivities. AMC's regular season will end on Saturday, Oct. 29, with a 1 p.m. clash against the Cougars.
