Krista LaBissoniere (Meriden, Conn.) led the Albertus Magnus women's volleyball team with five kills and nine digs as the Falcons fell to Newbury College 3-0 (25-23, 25-10, 25-15) in non-conference action on Saturday in Northfield, Vt.

The Falcons fall to 4-5 on the year with the loss. After a close first set, one in which Albertus lost by just two points at 25-23, Newbury took control of the match. Sydney Fish dominated play with 18 kills in 36 attempts as she committed just four hitting errors.

Sara Hanna added a match-high 20 digs for Newbury, while Sarah Young dished out an impressive 31 assists.

Albertus' Maritza Rosemond (New Haven, Conn.) registered 11 assists for the Falcons along with two service aces, while teammate Kelsey Pendagast (Milford, Conn.) added four kills.

The Falcons will return home on Tuesday, Sept. 18 as they host Mass Maritime in a 7:00 p.m. non-league match-up.
