Albertus Magnus senior Melissa Manning (Milford, Conn.) has been named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Weekly Honor Roll.

This week's honor marks the third for the senior captain this season.

Manning led the Falcons with 40 kills on the week, a 4.00 kills per set average, while hitting an impressive .330.  She added four service aces, four blocks and impressive tally of 35 digs as the Falcons finished the week 3-0.

Manning averaged 3.50 digs per set and her 38 digs were second-most for the program.  She registered an impressive tally of 19 kills in 43 tries in a 3-1 win at Mitchell, while adding three service aces. In that contest, she recorded just two hitting errors. She also had 16 digs.

Against CCNY on Sunday, Sept. 22, she registered a team-best 16 kills and 13 digs.  On the week, she registered two double-doubles and this season has a total of eight.

She also ranks second in the league with 131 total kills and a 3.05 kills per set average. With a 3-0 record this past week, the Falcons are currently on a seven-match win streak.
