Melissa Manning (Milford, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus women's volleyball team has been named a 2013 New England Women's Volleyball Association (NEWVA) Senior Classic Honorable Mention.

Manning, an outside hitter for the Falcons, led the Falcons this season with 230 kills, a 2.84 kills per set average.  She has added eight assists, 32 service aces, and 251 digs.  She also has nine blocks this season. 

She earned a spot on the GNAC Weekly Honor Roll on Sept. 4 and Sept. 23 and then was named the GNAC Player of the Week on Oct. 7.

All players earning a spot in the 2013 Senior Classic as well as the honorable mentions were selected by vote of all participating NEWVA member head coaches.
