A NEW YEAR
The Albertus Magnus College women's volleyball team is set to begin the 2017 campaign with a trio of non-conference games this weekend at the Blazer Invitational hosted by Elms College. The Falcons open the fall with games against Elms and Castleton on Friday afternoon before squaring off with SUNY Cobleskill on Saturday.

A QUICK LOOK BACK AT LAST YEAR

• The women's volleyball team ended the 2016 fall season with a 7-20 overall record and landed in 12th-place in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) with a 0-11 mark in league action.
• Head Coach Vanessa Rosario guided the Falcons to non-conference wins against York, Elms, Purchase State, Medgar Evers and CCNY.
• Albertus Magnus swept the season series with York and Medgar Evers, defeating both the Cardinals and Cougars twice during the autumn.
• The team also won back-to-back matches on two separate occasions in 2016.
• Albertus Magnus opened the year with two straight wins at the Blazer Invitational hosted by Elms.
