NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College women's volleyball team bested both Lehman College (3-0) and Nichols College (3-1) at a home tri-match on Saturday, Sept. 7, to improve to 3-0 at home on the young season.

KEY HIGHLIGHTS
• In the opener, the Falcons posted a season-best .167 hitting percentage and tied the nightcap with a season-high 17 service aces.
• Freshman middle Diana Kalman (Naugatuck, Conn.) paced the offense in the opener with a season-high-tying eight kills on 16 swings, giving her a .250 attack percentage.
• Fellow rookie Peyton Davis (North Haven, Conn.) stole the show at the service line with seven aces.
• Defensively, senior Jesselle Guzman (El Paso, Texas) paced all players with 22 digs.
• The opening set marked the first time this season that Albertus held its opponent to single digits in a frame.

• Albertus logged a season-best 31 assists in the nightcap, in addition to tying a season-high with 17 aces.
• Davis logged another impressive performance against the Bison, finishing with her first career double-double on 11 kills and 10 digs.
• Kalman and Ashley David (West Islip, N.Y.) also had stellar offensive showings with eight kills each.
• With her eight kills in the second match today, David now has 502 in her illustrious career.
• Jaiden Williams (Orange, Conn.) was at the center of the Falcons' attack, posting a season-high 26 assists on the team's 31 kills.
• Guzman rounded out her stellar day with 27 more digs against Nichols to lead all players.
