Standish, ME - The Albertus Magnus College Women's Cross-Country team finished in 8th place at the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championships on Saturday afternoon. The Falcons were led by freshman Veronica Blekis (Plymouth, CT/Terryville) who finished in 13th place with a career best time and junior Alisha Darin (Killingworth, CT/Haddam-Killingworth) who finished near her career best time.
The Falcons had a successful season with all runners posting career best times as the season continued. The young Falcons return their entire roster next season and look to build on this year's growth and success.
