NEW HAVEN, Conn. – In recognition of their outstanding study hall attendance for the fall semester, Albertus Magnus College women's volleyball's Yarelis Torres (East Haven, Conn.) and men's lacrosse's Judah LaRose (New Haven, Conn.) were named the athletic department's Falcon Spotlight Players of the Week.
Both Torres and LaRose topped the entire student-athlete body on being named the department's top male and female student-athletes in study hall minutes. Yarelis logged in over 3,000 minutes, while LaRose recorded over 2,400 minutes.
The athletic department would also like to recognize the top three men's and women's sports teams for the entire fall semester.

The athletic department is proud to continue and implement the student-athlete study hall program. The primary purpose of study hall is to provide specialized resources to student-athletes in order to ensure success in the classroom as well as on the field. Study hall is located in Rosary Hall, where student-athletes have access to the library's resources such as the Germain Center for Academic Success, and is also open to all student-athletes.
