NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Albertus Magnus College Athletic Department has announced the new hiring of Danielle Pannone as its next Head Coach of the Women's Lacrosse and Women's Field Hockey programs.
"We are excited to welcome Coach Pannone to the Albertus team," said Director of Athletics Jim Abromaitis. "We couldn't be more thrilled for our student-athletes to have an opportunity to learn and grow under her leadership."
"I am incredibly grateful and honored for this opportunity to coach both the women's lacrosse and field hockey team here at Albertus Magnus College," said Coach Pannone. "Albertus has a strong tradition of competitive teams and sports, and I am ready to leave my mark on the program. I am also very eager to help guide our Fearless Falcons to success, both on the field and in the classroom."
Pannone comes to Albertus from Bunnell High School and North Haven High School. At Bunnell, she worked as Head Coach of the Girl's Lacrosse team. During that same stretch of time, Pannone also worked as the Head JV Coach and a Varsity Assistant Coach at North Haven High School for the field hockey program. There she was responsible for all aspects of practice planning and game management, as well as skill-specific work with the players.
Prior to her roles with Bunnell and North Haven, Pannone worked for North Branford High School as a Varsity Assistant girl's Lacrosse Coach for four seasons and for North Branford Middle School as the Head Field Hockey Coach for seven seasons, undefeated for six of them.
Pannone also coaches with the Lightning girl's youth lacrosse program and has been with them for eight years. Just recently she started coaching the 2026's for Team 91 out of Westchester, NY.
