NEW HAVEN, Conn. – On Friday, March 25, the Albertus Magnus College Athletic Department is set to host its second Unified Basketball Tournament at "The Nest" located inside the Cosgrove Marcus Messer Athletic Center. Four teams – Albertus Magnus, Southern Connecticut State University, Town of Milford, and Town of North Branford – are set to compete in the tournament along with student-athletes from the various 15 Albertus athletic teams.

The basketball tournament is slated to begin at 10:00 AM with a welcome message from Patricia Fitzgerald and the playing of the national anthem, followed by a 10:15 AM tip-off. Once the games are completed, the teams will come together at center court for the medals ceremony and the annual group photo.

In September of 2018, Albertus Magnus entered into a partnership with the Amity Regional School District that included a Unified Sports program in both basketball and soccer.
