Albertus Athletics Tabs JD Monaco As New Operations And Sports Information Assistant

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus Athletics staff is pleased to announce the hiring of JD Monaco as the department's new Operations and Sports Information Assistant.

JD most recently comes from Quinnipiac University where he spent time as the Athletic Operations graduate assistant. While at Quinnipiac, he assisted with the setup and breakdown of all gameday operations for 14 Division I sports, supervised staff student workers, and prepared and executed game presentations.

He has also spent time interning at the Connecticut Sports Management Group as well as assisting with operations at the XL Center for the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, the PGA Tour's Traveler's Championship and the Spalding Hoophall Classic at the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Mass.

JD received his undergraduate degree from Springfield College in 2021 majoring in Sports Managament and earned his Master of Business Administration degree in Strategic Management in May 2023 from Quinnipiac University.
