NEW HAVEN, Conn. – In recognition of their outstanding Study Hall attendance for the fall semester, Albertus Magnus College Women's Swimming's Olivia Rocheleau (Hamilton, OH) and Men's Ice Hockey's Jeremy Tremblay (Orford, Québec) were named the Athletic Department's "Taking Flight" Players of the Week.
Both Rocheleau and Tremblay topped the entire student-athlete body on being named the department's top female and male student-athletes in Study Hall minutes. Rocheleau logged in for 2,788 minutes while Tremblay recorded 3,587 minutes. Rocheleau offers, "Go to Study Hall! It helped me earn the highest semester GPA of my college career, a 3.62 average. I still plan to use it this semester". Tremblay comments, "Study Hall was a crucial part of my success in the first semester. Going to Study Hall frequently helped me get work done. Studying at Rosary Hall benefited my grades and my understanding of multiple subjects. Even though I am not mandated to go to Study Hall anymore, I will still use its resources because of how it has made me improve as a student".

The Albertus Magnus College Athletic Department is proud to continue and implement the student-athlete Study Hall Program. The primary purpose of Study Hall is to provide specialized resources to student-athletes in order to ensure success in the classroom as well as on the field. Study Hall is located in Rosary Hall, where student-athletes have access to the library's resources such as the Germain Center for Academic Success.
