NEW HAVEN, Conn. — In this week's "Taking Flight" Players of the Week, Albertus Magnus College recognized the spectacular performances by men's basketball player Deivone Tanksley (Hartford, Conn) and women's basketball senior Natasha Rivera (Ansonia, Conn.).
Tanksley posted a career-high five steals in the Falcons' Great Northeast Athletic Conference Quarterfinals victory over the visiting Regis College Pride. The team put together a 7-2 scoring run in the final five minutes capped by a steal and layup from Tanksley.
Rivera notched a team-high seven rebounds, to go with three assists, three steals and four points as the Falcons handled business in the GNAC Quarterfinals game with New England College in the Nest on Tuesday night. The senior is second on the team with 8.0 rebounds averaged per game
