The Albertus Magnus College Men's Baseball Team gained valuable experience on their spring break trip. Despite their 0-7 record, Head Coach Brian Leighton felt that the trip will prepare the Falcons for the rest of their season. "The team had the opportunity to practice at Virginia Tech which was an outstanding experience for our student-athletes. We played #4, #6, #8, and #23 on this trip. When you play ranked teams, your margin of error is much smaller. We definitely improved in every area of the team this trip," said Leighton. The Falcons lost an 8-5 decision on the final day of the trip to North Carolina Wesleyan in a game that saw Albertus out hit their opponents 11-4. Albertus Magnus opens it's northern schedule on Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 pm at Purchase College.
