NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Elijah Spataj (Cheshire, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus College baseball team was named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Weekly Honor Roll after his performance during the week of March 25-31.

During the 1-3 week for the Falcons, Spataj hit .471 (8-for-17) with eight RBI, two home runs and five runs with a .941 slugging percentage.

In a 12-11 win over Rivier in extra innings on March 26, Spataj went 1-for-6 with an RBI and a run.

Against Lasell on March 29 in an 11-10 loss, Spataj went 4-for-5 with two home runs, five RBI and a walk. It was his second career game with two home runs.

Spataj also went 3-for-5 with two doubles, two RBI and two runs in an 11-8 loss to Mitchell on March 30.

This season, Spataj is batting .358 and is second in the GNAC in slugging percentage at .679 and tied for second in the conference with four home runs.
