Link: NCAA Division III Regional Rankings

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Albertus Magnus College men's basketball team earned a spot in the first NCAA Division III regional rankings of the 2021-22 season, released this afternoon. The Falcons are one of just nine teams recognized in region 1, which features 43 programs.

The Falcons are no strangers to the NCAA D-III regional rankings, as they have been a staple in the region over Head Coach Mitch Oliver's 15 seasons. Most recently, the Falcons were ranked in all three editions of the poll during the team's 2019-20 campaign, AMC's most-recent full season.

Albertus earns a spot as one of the nine best teams in the region with an 11-6 overall record this season and a 9-3 mark in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC).

The Falcons will return to action tonight with a GNAC showdown against Johnson & Wales (RI) University. The opening tipoff for the league matchup is slated for 7 p.m. at the Wildcat Center.
