NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Coming off an impressive 4-1 week in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action, the Albertus Magnus College men's basketball team was slotted eighth in the latest edition of the NCAA Division III regional rankings for the 2021-22 season, released this afternoon. The Falcons are one of just three GNAC teams recognized in region 1, which features nine ranked teams out of 43 programs.

The Falcons are no strangers to the NCAA D-III regional rankings, as they have been a staple in the region over Head Coach Mitch Oliver's 15 seasons. Albertus remains in the regional rankings after securing a spot in the first iteration of the poll last Tuesday.

Albertus earns a spot as one of the nine best teams in the region with a 15-6 overall record this season and a 13-3 mark in conference play. The Falcons are currently on a four-game winning streak after defeating Johnson & Wales (RI) University twice, Regis (Mass.) College, and Colby-Sawyer College last week.
