WINTHROP, Mass. - Justice Washington (Hamden, Conn.) was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Player of the Week, as announced by the GNAC on Monday, Nov. 20.

Washington played well on both ends of the floor for the Falcons. He averaged a double-double with 18 points per game on an efficient 59 percent (23-for-39) from the floor and snagged 13 rebounds while also being active defensively with 1.7 steals and 2.7 blocks per game. 

On Tuesday (Nov. 14), the senior went 5-for-9, scoring 14 points, grabbed nine boards, and collected three steals in a 85-78 win over Hartford. Two days later (Nov. 16), Washington played his part in the Falcons' double-overtime victory over Montclair State as he recorded a double-double (12 points and 13 rebounds) and swatted away five shots. Then, on Saturday (Nov. 18), Washington recorded yet another double-double with a career-high 28 points and 17 rebounds while also collecting two blocks and steals apiece.
