NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Justice Washington (Hamden, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus College men's basketball team was named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Weekly Honor Roll for his performance during a 2-0 week for the Falcons. 

The Falcons, who are currently on an eight-game winning streak, defeated Elms 70-58 on the road on January 24 in a GNAC. matchup and then a wire-to-wire 84-64 win at home against Norwich on January 27.

Washington notched double-doubles in both games and averaged 18 points and 13.5 rebounds in the two contests. Against Elms, Washington scored 10 points on 5-for-10 shooting to go with 11 rebounds.

In the win over Norwich, Washington scored 26 points on 11-for-16 shooting to go with 16 rebounds. It was his 13th double-double of the season.

Washington is averaging 16.4 points per game and leads the conference in rebounding at 11.3 per game. He is also second in field goal percentage at 60.9 percent (137-for-225).

The Falcons are back in action on Tuesday at Emmanuel at 7:30 p.m. in a GNAC matchup.
