2021 Schedule

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – One day away from its first official round of the season, Albertus Magnus College men's golf Head Coach J.R. Fredette revealed his team's 2021 schedule this afternoon.

The Falcons are slated to compete in five regular-season events in 2021, featuring three invitationals and two matches. Of those five events, Albertus will host one of them.

Albertus' year will kick off on Wednesday, Sept. 8, at the Mitchell Invite. The event will be held at the Shennecossett Golf Club in Groton, Conn. The Falcons will next compete at the Warrior Invitational, hosted by Eastern Connecticut State University, on Thursday, Sept. 16, at the Windham Club in North Windham, Conn.

The Falcons will host their first match of the season on Monday, Sept. 20. Albertus welcomes Mitchell College and Western Connecticut State University to Alling Memorial Golf Course.

Albertus follows up its first home round of the year with back-to-back away events. The Falcons will first play at Emmanuel (Mass.) College in a dual-match on Sept. 22. AMC then travels north for the Brett Williamson Invitational on Sept. 23 in Westfield, Mass., at the Tekoa Country Club.

Albertus will kick off postseason play by hosting the 2021 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Men's Golf Championship on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 11-12, at the New Haven Country Club in Hamden, Conn. The Falcons will look to defend their GNAC Title from last season, as Albertus won the league crown by 23 strokes to make its first-ever appearance in the NCAA Tournament.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Falcons' 2021 schedule is subject to change.
