EAST BOSTON, Ma. - The Albertus Magnus College men's ice hockey team defeated the Rams of Suffolk University in a 6-2 victory on Friday evening.

Zane Kindrachuk (Calgary, Alberta) led the offensive effort with two goals and two assists. JJ Berdal scored one and had three assists in the win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Falcons found the early goal at the 1:31 minute mark as Connor Bertamini (Calgary, Alberta) scored his first career goal assisted by Tim Manning (Concord, Ohio). 

The Kindrachuck brothers, Zeth and Zane (Calgary, Alberta), led the offensive effort for the Falcons, scoring two goals within the first four minutes of the game as the Falcons found themselves in a power play advantage. Manning tabbed a second assist while Harley Michaels (Kirkland, Quebec), JJ Berdal (Wausau, Wis.) and Tyler Ignazzitto (Bath, Ontario) were credited with assists.

Suffolk retaliated at the 5-minute mark with a goal, closing out the scoring for the first period at 3-1.

The Rams held a shot advantage in the second period, taking 11 shots compared to the Falcons' nine. However at the 6:22 mark, Sam Anderson (Calgary, Alberta) struck for the Falcons assisted by Berdal and Zane Kindrachuck. 

Zane Kindrachuck scored his second goal at the 2:41 mark to kick off the third period, 5-1, as Berdal and Ignazzitto picked up assists once again. The Falcons finished their scoring as Berdal, already sitting with three assists, found a goal for himself as Anderson and Zane Kindrachuck were tabbed with assists.

Suffolk came back with one goal at the 17:49 mark to close out the scoring for the game, 6-2.
