Zeth Kindrachuk found the opening goal for the Falcons at the 5:15 minute mark. Ryan Herpy (Chagrin Falls, Ohio) played a pass behind the Falcons' goal to Connor Bertamini (Calgary, Alberta). He sent a long pass to Zeth Kindrachuk to take on the JWU goalkeeper to score.

The Falcons kept up the intensity, scoring again at the 11:25 mark. JJ Berdal (Wausau, Wis.) fed a pass through to Gustav Müller (Hudiksvall, Sweden), tapping a pass to Zane Kindrachuk to put one past the JWU goalie.

JWU retaliated with a goal of their own at the 11:52 mark, but Albertus found an opportunity for a third goal at the 13:56 minute as Tim Manning (Concord, Ohio) passed to Harley Michaels (Kirkland, Quebec) and fed a pass through to Zeth Kindrachuk. He skated past his defender to score his second goal of the game.

The game was evenly matched at eight shots apiece in the second period, but only Albertus was able to capitalize with a goal. Beginning from a faceoff won by Anderson, the puck bounced back to Berdal who slid a pass to Tyler Ignazzitto (Bath, Ontario) who sent in a shot. The Falcons kicked off the third period with a goal at the 3:49 mark as Ignazzitto passed to Berdal who took a hard hit shot. The puck deflected off of Anderson to score his second goal of the season.

Albertus notched its final goal of the evening at the 10:04 minute mark to culminate in a hat trick for Zeth Kindrachuk. During a battle in the Falcons' defensive end, Manning and Bertamini fought to get the puck out to Zeth Kindrachuk who found himself in open ice against JWU goaltender to score.
