WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Albertus Magnus College men's ice hockey team fell to the Colonels of Wilkes University on Friday evening, 4-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Despite outshooting the Colonels 15-9, Wilkes found the lone goal of the first period at the 8:58 minute mark when they capitalized on a powerplay.
Wilkes increased its lead two-fold, scoring again in the second period at the 7:45 mark.
The Falcons took one back at the 17:05 mark when Caden Pattison (Lake Stevens, Wash.) tipped in a shot from Tim Manning (Concord, Ohio). Harley Michaels (Kirkland, Quebec) also picked up an assist on the goal.
The Colonels outshot the Falcons in the third period, 11-7. Wilkes was able to score at the 16:10 mark, spurring the Falcons to remove Logan Bateman (Ottawa, Ontario) from goal to have a number advantage in skaters. The Colonels sealed the Falcons' fate at the 17:43 minute mark with an empty net goal, giving Albertus its first loss of the season.
