SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. - The Albertus Magnus College men's ice hockey team fell to the Thoroughbreds of Skidmore College on Friday evening, 4-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Despite the Falcons and the Thoroughbreds taking nine shots apiece, Skidmore found the early goal at the 13:33 minute mark. The score held through the first period as the Falcons pushed to find a goal.

The Thoroughbreds scored two unanswered goals in the second period, limiting the Falcons to only five shots.

At the 5:32 minute mark, the Falcons pushed to score as Charles Lavoie (Chicoutimi, Quebec) found a pass to Aidan Patterson (Redondo Beach, Calif.) to score his first goal of the season. 

Skidmore retaliated with a goal at the 19:06 mark as the Albertus team fought to find a goal for themselves, giving the Thoroughbreds an empty net opportunity to score.
