HOW IT HAPPENED
Harley Michaels (Kirkland, Quebec) set the scene for the Falcons after receiving a pass from Pattison during a power play. Michaels then sent in a long shot toward Weitzman and Sam Anderson (Calgary, Alberta) who fronted the net for a perfect deflection. Weitzman was able to tip the puck off his stick and into the net for the first goal of the game at the 12:43 minute mark.

The Falcons struck again at the 16:50 minute mark as Zane Kindrachuk sent in a shot to deflect off of the Camels' goaltender, Will McEvoy. Witt collected the rebound and sent the puck to the back of the net to go up 2-0.

Albertus outshot Connecticut in the first period, 14-10. The Falcons continued this momentum heading into the second period where the team increased its offensive threat with 17 shots compared to the Camels' 10.

In the second period, Pattison raced down the ice to play a quick pass to Paden Hicks (Kansas City, Mo.) and receive a pass back. Nearing the Camels' goal, Pattison sent in a shot to deflect off a Camel defender and into the net for a three-goal advantage at the 13:00 mark.

The Falcons found a fourth goal at the 14:51 minute mark as Anderson sent a puck to Zane Kindrachuk from the face off, where Zane perfectly one-timed a shot between the goaltender's legs to score.

The Falcons and Camels each sent in 11 shots on target during the third period, however the Camels were able to take two back from the Falcons for a 4-2 scoreline.
