Tim Manning Named Joe Concannon Semifinalist For Second Straight Season

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Tim Manning (Concord, Ohio) of the Albertus Magnus College men's ice hockey team was named as a semifinalist for the Joe Concannon Award for the second consecutive season. The award is given annually to the best American-born college hockey player in New England at the NCAA Division II/III level as announced by Gridiron of Greater Boston President, Tim Whalen Jr.

Manning is one of 38 players who were named semifinalist for the award, which is in its 23rd year.

Manning, a junior forward, appeared in 25 games this year on the first line, recording seven goals and 10 assists for 17 points. He recorded four games in which he had at least two points, including the first two games of the season in 6-2 wins over both Suffolk and Johnson and Wales.
