NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Albertus Magnus College men's lacrosse team fell at home to Lasell University on Wednesday evening by a final score of 20-2 under the lights at Celentano Field.

Shane Kelly (Madison, Conn.) and Jayme Toro (East Haven, Conn.) netted the two goals for the Falcons, while Charles Stewart (Stratford, Conn.) assisted Kelly's goal. Dane Walsh (Bethany, Conn.) finished the evening with 21 saves.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Lasers controlled the action in the first three quarters, opening the game with 19 unanswered goals.

Albertus halted the Lasell run with 9:06 left in the fourth quarter. Kelly tallied the first goal for the Falcons, driving to the crease before bouncing a shot over the keeper's shoulder and into the back of the net.

Toro concluded the Falcons' scoring with 6:59 left, beating a defender before sniping the top-right corner to make it a 19-2 game. The Lasers ended their win with the contest's final goal to seal a 20-2 victory.
