Men’s Tennis Releases 2022 Spring Slate

2021-22 Schedule

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Head Coach Bob Migliorni has released the spring 2022 schedule for the Albertus Magnus College men's tennis team this afternoon.

The Falcons will play in nine matches throughout the spring, with five coming against Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) foes. Five of the nine matches will occur at home at the Celentano Courts, while the remaining four will see the Falcons travel to an opposing venue.

The Falcons kicked off their 2021-22 campaign in the fall season, playing in a total of three matches and compiling a 1-2 record. Albertus' win came by way of a convincing 8-1 triumph over the Wentworth Institute of Technology.

Albertus opens the spring season with three straight home matches, the first against Brooklyn College on March 5 at 1 PM. The Falcons will next play Salve Regina University on March 6 at 6 PM, before opening GNAC play versus Regis (Mass.) College on March 19 at 1 PM. The Falcons will then travel to Norwich University on Friday, March 25, for a road clash against the Cadets, before returning home on Sunday, March 27, for a bout with the Warriors of Vaughn College.

The Falcons will host the Chargers of Colby-Sawyer College for their final regular-season home match on Saturday, April 2, at 1 PM. Albertus will then travel to Lesley College on April 9 for a 1 PM matchup before finishing the season with a weekend slate against Eastern Nazarene College and Sarah Lawrence College on April 23 and April 24.
