WINTHROP, Mass. – For the second straight week and the third time this season, Ivy Geloso (Beacon Falls, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus College softball team was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Week.

Geloso was outstanding as the Falcons went 4-0 last week, going 8-for-12 (.667) at the plate with seven RBIs, four runs scored, four doubles, and a triple. The senior utility player recorded a slash line of .667/.662/1.167 over her four contests for a 1.859 OPS. The highlight of Geloso's week came against Rivier University on Sunday, when she went 3-for-3 from the leadoff spot to tally three RBIs, a run scores, and a double in game two.

The Albertus Magnus softball team will return to the diamond on Wednesday, April 27th, for a home doubleheader match-up against the Wildcats of Johnson & Wales University. Game times are set for 3 PM and 5 PM on the Shea Softball Field in New Haven, Conn.
