WINTHROP, Mass. – Following a historic 2021-22 season that featured a 13-game win streak, Jakara Murray-Leach (Norwalk, Conn.) and Caitlyn Scott (White Plains, N.Y.) were awarded Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) All-Conference recognition, as announced by the league office Monday.

Murray-Leach made an immediate impact in her first collegiate season, making the All-GNAC First Team and the All-Rookie Team. The Norwalk, Conn., native ended the season ranked second in the conference in both points (17.9) and steals per game (2.4). She also averaged 4.8 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 0.4 blocks per game, all while shooting 43.7% from the floor and 28.7% from 3-point range. The highlight of Murray-Leach's season came in the GNAC Quarterfinals when she poured in a season-best 40 points in three quarters. She was named GNAC Player of the Week twice this season, and Rookie of the Week three times.

Scott also gathered her first All-GNAC recognition with a Third Team nod. The sophomore guard was one of the biggest playmakers in the league, pacing the GNAC with 3.8 assists per game. In addition, she was second on the team with 13.7 points and 1.9 steals while being fourth with 3.9 rebounds per game. Scott showcased all the facets of her game in AMC's 72-55 win over the University of Saint Joseph (CT) on Feb. 5, when she racked up a career-high 32 points with five rebounds, three assists, and three steals.

The Falcons picked sophomore guard Carsyn Langhorn (Norwalk, Conn.) as the team representative on the GNAC All-Sportsmanship Team. Langhorn made 20 appearances this season and averaged 4.6 points and 0.8 rebounds per game. She exploded for a season-high 19 points in AMC's 78-34 triumph over Dean College on Feb. 15.
