NEW HAVEN, Conn. — Amanda Zdru (Stratford, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus College women's basketball team was named to the Division III College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team on Tuesday. Zdru advances to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members after being selected as a CSC Academic All-America® finalist.

The 2023-24 Academic All-District® Women's Basketball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Academic All-America® honorees will be announced April 16, 2024.

Zdru started in 27 games with 172 points and shot 70.7 at the line for the Falcons. In the classroom, Zdru is sporting a 3.5 grade-point average while majoring in management in marketing.
