2021 Schedule Announced for Women's Tennis

2021 Schedule

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – After competing in just one exhibition contest last year, the Albertus Magnus College women's tennis team is set to participate in a full 2021 campaign, as Head Coach Bob Migliorini announced the team's upcoming schedule.

The Falcons are slated to play nine matches this season, three at home and six on the road. In addition, six of Albertus' nine contests in 2021 will be against Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) competition.

Albertus kicks off the 2021 campaign on Saturday, Sept. 11, with a home GNAC tilt against Simmons University at 1 p.m. at the Celentano Courts. The Falcons will then play back-to-back road matches against Regis (Mass.) College (Sept. 18) and Sarah Lawrence College (Sept. 19), before closing out the month at home versus Eastern Nazarene College (Sept. 25).

AMC will then hit the road for a majority of its October slate. Albertus will head to Lesley University (Oct. 2), the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) (Oct. 6), Vaughn College (Oct. 16), and York College (N.Y.) (Oct. 22). Sandwiched between their away bouts, the Falcons host Colby–Sawyer College on Saturday, Oct. 9.

In its last full season, Albertus won four matches, with three of those wins coming against teams that they face this year.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Falcons' 2021 schedule is subject to change.
