NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus women's tennis team was picked fifth as the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) released its preseason poll.

The Falcons received five voting points, just behind the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.)

Colby-Sawyer was picked to win its third straight GNAC title, receiving 23 voting points, including three first-place votes. Regis was just behind, receiving 21 voting points and two first-place votes. Simmons rounded out the top three with 16 voting points.

The Falcons open up their season on Friday, September 1 at 4 p.m. against Sarah Lawrence College.
