  • 2021-22 GNAC Academic All-Conference Honorees Announced

    WINTHROP, Mass. – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) has announced its All-Academic Team for the 2021-22 school year. This year, 88 student-athletes from Albertus Magnus College were among the 1,274 honorees named to the Academic Team from 14 full-time institutions and four associate member institutions in the conference.
  • Michael Kobylanski Named Director of Athletics at Albertus Magnus College

    New Haven, Conn, June 6, 2022 –  Albertus Magnus College is pleased to announce Michael Kobylanski has been selected as Director of Athletics for the College’s NCAA Division III athletics programs, which currently fields teams in 16 sports.  Kobylanski, who was selected after a comprehensive, national search, will assume his new role starting July 11.

  • Albertus Magnus Athletics Set to Host Unified Basketball Tournament

    NEW HAVEN, Conn. – On Friday, March 25, the Albertus Magnus College Athletic Department is set to host its second Unified Basketball Tournament at “The Nest” located inside the Cosgrove Marcus Messer Athletic Center. Four teams – Albertus Magnus, Southern Connecticut State University, Town of Milford, and Town of North Branford – are set to compete in the tournament along with student-athletes from the various 15 Albertus athletic teams.

    NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Albertus Magnus College Athletic Department has announced a revised spectator policy effective Monday, Feb. 7 for all home athletic events, including men’s and women’s basketball, men’s ice hockey, men’s and women’s lacrosse, baseball, softball, and men’s tennis games.  
  • Albertus Magnus College Director of Athletics Jim Abromaitis Announces Retirement

    NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Albertus Magnus College announces the retirement of Director of Athletics, Jim Abromaitis at the end of this academic year. Abromaitis joined Albertus in 2013, bringing to his athletics leadership role significant experience in collegiate and professional sports and in business, helping to strengthen the College’s NCAA Division III athletics program. “Albertus athletics has grown and prospered under Jim’s leadership, with expanded offerings, new facilities, and always a focus on holistic success, in competition but most importantly in the classroom,” said Albertus President, Dr. Marc M. Camille.

    NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Albertus Magnus College is postponing its Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, which was scheduled for Saturday, January 29, 2022, due to the current wave of infections in the state of Connecticut caused by the Omicron variant of COVID-19.

This decision has been made in response to the increase in the positivity rates of COVID-19 within the state.
  • 121 Student-Athletes Earn Dean's List Accolades for Fall 2021 Term

    NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Albertus Magnus College Athletics had a solid showing in the classroom during the 2021 fall semester, as 121 student-athletes from across 15 varsity sports earned Dean's List honors. Out of those 121 student-athletes, 34 of them received a GPA of 4.0.

College and Colby-Sawyer College on Saturday afternoon. The Falcons lost 3-0 in the opening match to the Saints and suffered a 3-0 loss in the nightcap to the Chargers.
