Women’s Volleyball to Hosts "Dig Pink" Fundraiser at Homecoming Matches

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Albertus Magnus College women's volleyball team is set to host a "Dig Pink" Fundraiser over Albertus' Homecoming & Family Weekend on Saturday, Oct. 15. The Falcons are scheduled to challenge Saint Joseph's College of Maine (11 AM) and Anna Maria College (3 PM) as a part of a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Tri-Match on Saturday.

The "Dig Pink" initiative helps raise funds for the Side-Out Foundation to support metastatic breast cancer research and treatments. For more information about the Side-Out Foundation, click this LINK.

Albertus is welcoming all high school volleyball players to the matches, as the team is waiving the admission costs for all student-athletes that present their IDs. In addition, fans are encouraged to wear pink in support of the cause.

The Falcons will raise money by holding a concession stand with snacks and baked goods throughout the day. Albertus will also be holding raffles to help raise funds.
