Blekis Leads Falcons With Career Best Time
October 30, 2010Standish, ME - The Albertus Magnus College Women's Cross-Country team finished in 8th place at the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championships on Saturday afternoon. The Falcons were led by freshman Veronica Blekis (Plymouth, CT/Terryville) who finished in 13th place with a career best time and junior Alisha Darin (Killingworth, CT/Haddam-Killingworth) who finished near her career best time.

October 09, 2010Westfield, MA - Freshman Veronica Blekis (Plymouth, CT/Terryville) and junior Alisha Darin (Killingworth, CT/Haddam Killingworth) led the Falcons on Saturday afternoon at the Westfield State Invitational. The Falcons finished 25th out of 31 teams in one of the largest and most competitive invitationals in New England.

October 02, 2010West Hartford, CT - The Albertus Magnus College Women's Cross Country Team finished in 2nd Place at the Saint Joseph College Invitational Race on Saturday afternoon. Freshman Veronica Blekis (Plymouth, CT/Terryville) and junior Alisha Darin (Killingworth, CT/Haddam Killingworth) finished in fourth and fifth place respectively. Sophomore Heather Daniels (Madison, CT/Daniel Hand) finished strong in tenth place. It marked the second time this season that the Falcons finished second place or higher.

Freshman Veronica Blekis (Plymouth, CT) and Alisha Darin (Killingworth, CT) finished sixth (23:30) and seventh (23:54) respectively.

2010 Cross-Country Schedules Released
August 19, 2010The Albertus Magnus College Athletic Department is proud to announce the release of the 2010 Men's and Women's Cross-Country Schedules. The Cross-Country season starts on Friday September 17 for both programs in New London, CT at the Mitchell College Invitational.
