WLax: Lasers Dominate Albertus Magnus in GNAC Play

Newton, MA- The women's lacrosse team took a 22-5 win over Albertus Magnus on Saturday during a GNAC matchup on senior day.

Lasell took the lead early in the first quarter with two quick goals from seniors Teresa Kessner and Kaitlin Bedell. The Falcons responded just over a minute later, followed by five more Laser goals.

Albertus would only score once more during the quarter with three more Laser goals to finish out the quarter 10-2.

In the second quarter the Lasers sent the game into running time within minutes, allowing two goals from the Falcons and scoring seven more goals.

In the second half, the Lasers continued to dominate with five more goals, allowing one final free position shot in the fourth quarter.

The Lasers had a few different scorers with one goal scored by Kaleigh Kosta, two goals from both Annarita Sanfilippo and Emily Watson, three goals from Jacquelyn Scopa, six goals from Kaitlin Bedell, and eight goals from Teresa Kessner

Up Next: Lasell will next play at home on Monday against Colby Sawyer in a GNAC game at 5:00pm for their second to last regular season game.
