April 21, 2024STANDISH, Me. - Annabelle Jabs (East Hartland, Conn.) pitched a masterful performance in game one and the Albertus Magnus College softball team scored six runs in game two as the Falcons swept Saint Joseph’s College (Maine) 2-1 in eight innings and 9-4 on Sunday afternoon in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) doubleheader. In game one, Jabs pitched a complete game, giving up just one earned run on four hits while striking out six. A Hailey Laforte (Branford, Conn.) sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth proved to be the game winner.
