NEW HAVEN, Conn. — In this week's "Taking Flight" Players of the Week, Skylar Arent (Ridgefield, Conn.) dominated on the mound for the Albertus Magnus College softball team, while Jeremy Tremblay (Orford, Québec) was a force to be reckoned with for the men's lacrosse team.
In the explosive 14-0 triumph over Rutgers-Newark, Arent pitched three hitless innings for a 0.00 ERA and a .33 WHIP for the first time in her career on the mound.
Tremblay scored a pair of hat tricks in games against Dean and Rivier. He scored three goals and added an assist against Dean, and then scored four against Rivier on Saturday. Tremblay now has 18 points on 14 goals and four assists through the first six games this season.
