NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Hailey Laforte (Branford, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus College softball team was named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Weekly Honor Roll for the week of April 1-7.

During a 4-2 week for the Falcons, including four GNAC wins, Laforte batted .412 with four RBI and three runs with a .529 slugging percentage.

Laforte notched a hit in each game during the week. In the second game of a doubleheader against Rhode Island College, Laforte went 1-for-4 with an RBI.

In the first game of a doubleheader sweep at Dean on April 6, Laforte went 2-for-3 with two runs, a double and an RBI in a 13-1 win. She also had a hit in game two. 

In game one of a doubleheader against Regis, Laforte went 1-for-2 with a double, two RBI and walked once. She went 1-for-3 with a run in game two.

Laforte currently has a seven game hitting streak and hits in nine of her last ten games. She is currently fifth in the GNAC in RBI with 16.
