New Haven, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (S.A.A.C) participated in the "Fresh Check Day" event on Wednesday, Oct. 4th outside of Bree Common. Student organizations, like S.A.A.C, spoke out about various ways in which one may seek to de-stress during the school year.
S.A.A.C put together a relay event using the new Shea Softball Complex to show students how exercise can help relieve stress, boosts overall mood and self-confidence and help lower the risk of some diseases.

The Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is comprised of representatives from every intercollegiate athletic team on Albertus Magnus's campus. It is designed to provide an avenue for student-athletes to advocate for their needs while also working in concert with other institutions within the Great Northeast Athletic Conference and the national NCAA Division III population to improve the student-athlete experience and to facilitate communication among student-athletes within an institution, conference and on the national scale.
