New Haven, Conn. – The Albertus Magnus College Athletic Department hosted Albertus Madness on Thursday evening to kick off Homecoming Weekend and to build excitement for the 2019-20 men's and women's basketball seasons.
The Albertus Magnus community packed into the Cosgrove Marcus Messer Athletic Center wearing their Albertus swag to set the mood for this incredible night. Albertus' own Father Jordan Lenaghan served as the host for the evening and did an amazing job keeping the energy and excitement at a maximum level. Featured activities included Dash for Cash, Musical Chairs, Simon Says, a Falcon Dance-Off and Dizzy Bat.
Towards the end of the evening, Father Jordan introduced the Albertus Magnus men's and women's basketball teams. Following introductions, both teams showed off their layup skills to set the stage for the Dunk Contest. The slam dunk competition got the crowd out of their seats and featured freshman Marquan Watson dunking over Alberus Magnus President Marc Camille.
