NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Beginning Monday, April 26th, Albertus Magnus College students, faculty, and staff will be able to work out in the Athletic Center Upstairs Weight Room and have access to the Athletic Center swimming pool.
The upstairs weight room will be open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
The swimming pool will be open Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM, and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The swimming pool will be closed to the Albertus community on Saturday.
Upon arrival, faculty, students, and staff will check-in at the front desk for clearance by showing their Campus Clear app, providing their Albertus ID to the receptionist, and completing a temperature check. Once the check-in process is complete, individuals can proceed to their destination and individuals will be required to wipe down/disinfect all touched surfaces and equipment after each use. Once your workout is complete, you can pick up your Albertus ID upon leaving the Athletic Center.
Additionally, students will be required to bring their own water, arrive wearing a mask and maintain 6-foot distancing at all times. There will be no locker room areas provided for changing or storage of items. The staff will not be responsible for monitoring any items brought into these areas or any lost or stolen items.
