Albertus Athletics Welcomes John Juniet as New Assistant Athletic Trainer

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus Athletics staff is pleased to announce the hiring of John Juniet as the department's new Assistant Athletic Trainer. Juniet comes to Albertus with a wealth of athletic training experience, and has worked extensively with athletes across many different levels.

John most recently served as an athletic trainer at Advanced Physical Therapy where he served class MM and class S level high school sports programs at two separate high schools, serving over 500 athletes over 17 teams. Also, he was previously an athletic trainer in Newtown, Connecticut where he provided on-site athlete medical care, assessments, injury prevention and rehabilitation for a LL level high school sports program serving 640 athletes over 23 teams. 

Since October of 2020, Juniet has also worked as an independent per diem contractor providing quality athletic training services across a spectrum of activities including game and practice coverage at the secondary school, semi professional, youth, community and club sports levels. 

He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Athletic Training from Central Connecticut State University in 2016.

Juniet is BOC certified and licensed in the state of Connecticut. He is also both CPR and AED certified.
