John Adams concluded his 16th season as the associate head and goalkeeper coach for the Falcons' women's soccer program.

Adams began his coaching career at age 19 when he coached the Under-16 Boys' Classic Team in Hamden, Conn. In six years, his teams made two State Cup semifinal appearances and earned their way into the finals of the Cheshire Tournament all six years, winning four titles.

Following that run, Adams spent a year as the assistant head coach for the boy's soccer program at Amity Regional High School (Woodbridge, Conn.), where he currently teaches Math.

During the summer, Adams is a Goalkeeper Director at No. 1 Soccer Camps in Ohio for Greg Andrulis, former head coach of the Columbus Crew and current head coach of the George Mason University men's soccer program. No. 1 Soccer Camps also have sites in Massachusetts, Maine, Connecticut, and Virginia. Adams holds a similar position with Championship Soccer Camps in New Hampshire.

A resident of New Haven, Conn., Adams graduated from Albertus Magnus in 2003 and played soccer for Hall of Fame coach George Bedocs from 1999-2002. Adams was in goal for Coach Bedocs' 100th win at Albertus in 2001 and was in net for the program's first ECAC berth in 2002.
