Weckworth brings a wealth of experience to the newly-formed position. He most recently served as the College's Interim Director of Admissions, helping to spearhead the College's admissions and recruiting efforts.
He has previously worked for the last 38 years at Curry College, covering multiple roles, most recently spending 17 years as the Student-Athlete Recruitment and Welfare Coordinator and Head Softball Coach. He has also spent time as the Director of Admission and Interim Dean of Admission and Financial Aid, amongst other duties at Curry.
As the Student-Athlete Recruitment and Welfare Coordinator, Weckworth coordinated all external communication to prospective student-athletes, parents, and high school personnel and provided Athletic Department coaches assistance with all aspects of their recruiting process.
During his time as the head coach of the Curry softball team, Weckworth gained experience recruiting student-athletes. He also earned multiple accolades with his coaching, as he was named 1997, 1999, and 2004 Commonwealth Coast Conference Coach of the Year.
Weckworth is a 1982 graduate of Curry College with a degree in communications.
