(New Haven, CT) – The Albertus Magnus College Athletic Department and STX have announced a three-year sponsorship agreement that will outfit the Albertus men’s and women’s lacrosse programs exclusively with inventory from the world’s leading manufacturer of lacrosse equipment. The agreement was signed today, and announced by Director of Athletics Michael Spinner.
“STX is the most widely recognized manufacturer of men’s and women’s lacrosse equipment in the world, and presently sponsors many of the top lacrosse programs in the country at every level. If you look at the NCAA Tournaments this year, most of the top lacrosse teams are sponsored by STX. It is an honor that Albertus Magnus can join a very elite group of lacrosse programs sponsored by the best manufacturer of lacrosse equipment in the world.” Spinner said.
When the Albertus Magnus College men’s and women’s lacrosse programs take to the field for the first time, both programs will be fully outfitted by STX as the teams will use STX sticks, and wear STX protective gear, including gloves, pads, and women’s eyewear. STX produces all hard goods for men’s and women’s lacrosse, with the exception of helmets, making the company an attractive option for Albertus Magnus College, according to Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach Darryl Delia.
